dragonball z trivia - Psychospacecow - 11-18-2013 http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Pirate_Robot There are an assortment of different enemies throughout the DBZ game series' based around a robot that appeared on episode 50 of Dragonball. Though it usually appears as a boss, there are a few different versions, some of which having different stories. In Dragon Ball Z : The Legacy of Goku 2 and Buu's Fury, there are variants of the pirate robot built by the red ribbon army and appear in red, green, and gold to indicate their strength. (I don't know if this description is in both or not) Its in-game description reads: "This giant robot bears the insignia of the Red Ribbon Army. Scanning indicates that this robot was designed for military purposes. The thick Geromatium armor on this robot makes it invulnerable to most conventional attack." A boss version called Pilaf's Guardian appears in Buu's Fury. In Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans, there are Pirate Robot variants called Skull Robot and Captain Robot. Also, Pirate Robot look-alikes appear as enemies in Dragon Ball Online. Think this is good enough? Also, the geromantium thing is a reference to Dr. Gero of the Red Ribbon Army. http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Dr._Gero RE: dragonball z trivia - Psychospacecow - 11-19-2013 Thoughts? RE: dragonball z trivia - Mass Distraction - 11-20-2013 I like it, I've been seeing them all over the RPG side of the series. I have no idea about the DragonBall anime though, I only remember the one from the manga that was guarding the underwater facility of Red Ribbon. I found it interesting that even though the one was destroyed back in DragonBall there's two new ones in Attack of the Saiyans. I'm going to say that since Geromantium was a Red Ribbon invention, it is very likely Gero himself invented it. Anyway, I'm liking the trivia. RE: dragonball z trivia - Psychospacecow - 11-20-2013 Alright, also he appears in both. http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/The_Trap_is_Sprung http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/The_Pirates%27_Trap |
