Sonic...Fastest on the track? - CosmykTheDolfyn - 11-29-2013 Little interesting fact about SEGA. In 1993, they decided, as part of advertising, to sponser Frank Williams F-1 racing team. They sponsored two drivers in particular, Alain Prost of France and Damon Hill of Britian. The cars were heavy SEGA colors, and their two drivers wore white gloves and red shoes just like SEGA's mascot, Sonic the Hedgehog. The two drivers dominated that season, taking 15 of the sixteen pole positions and won 10 of the sixteen races. First of all Well Done to CosmykTheDolfyn for all the info here but he has made one little mistake. It was actually the European Grandprix being held at Donintgon Park that year.
