Hi,

WaterMelon, creators of Pier Solar published some pictures of their next MegaDrive game.
A beat them up with RPG elements called Project Y.

I am reading this and can only think of one thing...

But, I still play some of my old Genesis games, so I might actually follow this since I do have a working Genesis...

Why?
Just honestly, what do they have to gain from putting it on such an old console, or is that the point of the name?

Regardless, I do want to see how it turns out.

I pretty much agree with psychospacecow i am very curious on how this will turn out.

Well, their last work was also on the Genesis and was highly acclaimed critically (in 2010) and was later released in the Nintendo e-shop, where I assume it made them money. If it worked once, why not go for a second round?

Fair enough, the novelty of it probably works as a good marketing strategy.
