Creative Boss Fights. - frankfrost2 - 02-17-2014 Whats the most creative boss you ever fought in a game? By creative, I dont mean like, crayons and paper. I mean original. Not just shooting them til' there dead, but actually doing something other then generically shooting them until there health falls down to 0. Of course, there CAN be shooting involved, it just cant really kill them. That kind of creative. Example: Syphon Filter 2. (Possible spoilers to final level) This boss is simple, but I always liked it. Anyway, in order to kill the final boss, you must either use the M79 you probably shouldve got in the previous level, or get the shotgun that looks like an M16 out of the helicopter. You HAVE to use these weapons because there is a helicopter in the middle of the sky parking garage your on. You must use those two weapons because there the only weapons that have the force to push him back a little. So, its simple. All you need to do is use those weapons to push him back into the tail rotor of the helicopter and cut him to pieces. The reason you cant use any other weapons is cause they dont knock him back at all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oax4Tet_zUY Again, its a REALLY easy boss and you can probably beat him in less than 30 seconds if you know what to do, but still fun. RE: Creative Boss Fights. - gamemaster1991 - 02-17-2014 Muggshot from Sly Cooper is pretty creative. Muggshot is so muscle bond that you can't hit him, while he will shoot you if you get in his line of sight. The mirrors along the side of the arena is the only way to defeat him. The sequel (mini) boss fight in Sly 3 is also creative since you still can't attack him directly so you have to use the plane engen hurt him. Clockwerk is also creatvie by staring out shooting the holes in his armor that Carmaleta makes for the first two phases and than going though an obstacle course to smash his head. RE: Creative Boss Fights. - Psychospacecow - 02-17-2014 The Oogie Boogie Boss fights in Kingdom Hearts are pretty cool. You still have to beat him to death, but its not him you're fighting, its the world around you. RE: Creative Boss Fights. - retrolinkx - 02-17-2014 A lot of the MGS bosses are pretty interesting. Psycho Mantis, Vamp in MGS4 and a lot of the Octopuses in MGS4. Wonderful 101 has some interesting bosses, you could mash at him with a Wonder Punch, or you could slow him down with a Wonder Bomb, and then Combo a Wonder Punch, Sword, and Whip together to do tons of damage. RE: Creative Boss Fights. - CosmykTheDolfyn - 02-17-2014 I felt the final battle with Erazor Djinn in Sonic:The Lost Rings was creative. Interesting use of motion controls, cool looking design and still felt Sonic-y. RE: Creative Boss Fights. - PixelXenoKing - 02-17-2014 Sly cooper thieves in time the 2nd last boss battle is very cool and creative. RE: Creative Boss Fights. - Hexadecimal - 02-18-2014 A really good chunk of rhythm games have this. Not everyday you get to use the power of music to defeat a baddy. RE: Creative Boss Fights. - BumblebeeCody - 02-18-2014 Put your controller into port 2. Oh my. RE: Creative Boss Fights. - gamemaster1991 - 02-18-2014 I'm not sure about you guys, but the final Bosses of Portal and Portal 2 are really great. Just having to use your brain to beat the first game and than the final boss of the next taking precautions so you have to beat it differently is really clavor. RE: Creative Boss Fights. - CosmykTheDolfyn - 02-18-2014 I can't believe I forgot this... But pretty much every boss in the Earthworm Jim games. RE: Creative Boss Fights. - CLXcool - 02-18-2014 Aside from the Oogie boogie boss battles from Kingdom Hearts. I'd say both final bosses from the first and second KH games are the ones that take the cake in creativity. The final boss in the first one, you have to fight your way back to getting Goofy and Donald back from the darkness. The second one takes extremes to a new meaning. Even when your playing the game on expert mode. |
