At the Movies! - Ryan - 03-16-2013

A thread where we can talk about MOVIES!

Like, your favorite movies, least favorite, ones you think are underrated, overrated, etc.

Anything goes!

Personally one of my all time favourite films is Old Boy, a south Korean film about a man seeking vengeance. It's getting a US remake, which I'm pretty sure they're going to bugger up... But we'll see. I'm a bit of a fan of Korean films! :P

I've heard of Old Boy, it's on my long-ass list of movies to watch!

My favourite movie is probably the 2002 version of Chicago. Not only is it a great film with some great musical numbers but it's also fascinatingly based on real-life murderesses.

Anything with Charles Bronson in it automatically goes in my essential viewing list. I liked all 3 Matrix movies. Yes, it's possible to like all of them- the sequels are unfairly ridiculed compared to the first one. The Evangelion reboot is nice and I'm looking forward to 3.33. I am a huge David Lynch fan. Rabbits is my favorite thing he's done, but I'm also a big Twin Peaks fanboy.

And we can use this thread to discuss the most recent movie we've watched.

I'm actually going to be watching Argo right now.

RE: At the Movies! - Dazz - 03-16-2013

Argo is awesome, really enjoyed it.

RE: At the Movies! - CommanderCarr - 03-16-2013

Favorite Movie would Definitely have to be Empire Strikes Back. I'm a real big Star Wars nerd so thats prob why.

I'm also a real big Tarintino Fan, Django Unchained was awesome!

RE: At the Movies! - Xannidel - 03-16-2013

Worst movie I have seen this year has to be Beautiful Creatures, one of the few times my gf picks a movie for us to go to.

RE: At the Movies! - A Zombie Riot - 03-17-2013

Just got done watching Argo.

That was a pretty good flick!

RE: At the Movies! - Psychospacecow - 03-17-2013

My favorite movie has got to be Gran Torino.

RE: At the Movies! - JiraiyaSennin - 03-17-2013

My ultimate favorite movies are the LOTR series, I hate most musicals, and I think that Twilight is overrated.

I guess since someone else posted their DVD collection, I might as well post mine. Prepare to judge me.
