The Ring reference in Skullgirls - DeerBoarDude - 03-20-2014 One of the objects that can drop from Peacock's "Shadow of Impending Doom" move is a TV with Filia dressed as Sadako from The Ring coming out of it. This is , of course, a reference to the film "The Ring". But it's also a reference to one of Alex Ahad's (One of the games directors) pieces of artwork, where the cast got dressed up in various costumes for halloween. Filia is dresed up as Sadako.
