I find I enjoy myself much more on the forum without the thank count.
More about content, and less about accumulated numbers etc

It would be nice to check them from one's profile, unless that already is a thing and I'm just missing something.

The ability to view those stats on someone's profile is toggled at the same time as viewing them on every post so they're gone from there as well.

I'd rather it not be a thing personally. I don't know why but seeing all the numbers kind of bothered me, unless they were divisible by 5, and I don't know why.

It won't be. Besides the fact that it's not possible to just enable seeing them on the profile pages, it was agreed long ago to remove the counts outright.
