Banjo Kazooie Grunty's Theme music sampling - Boyobmas - 04-02-2014 Remember Gruntilda's Them from Banjo-Kazooie? Well turns out the composer, Grant Kirkhope, sampled it from the beginning of an old song called "Teddy Bears Picnic" Take a Listen for yourself! That would mean mixing the actual audio, rather than recreating it with new instruments. According to this interview with Grant Kirkhope (which MidwayCJ brought to my attention), he acknowledges that he probably was thinking about The Teddy Bear's Picnic while composing the music for Guntilda's Lair, but he doesn't believe it was a conscious decision to base the latter on the former. |
