Sent several messages to Gameseek hoping they haven't fucked up like they did last time, but I hope I can call them soon and they can send it to me.

I haven't received a dispatched email so I assume something went wrong, I'm just hoping that it's sorted out soon.
Didn't buy from Shopto?

RE: The Free Gaming Thread v2 : Electric Boogaloo - retrolinkx - 10-25-2014

Nah, I wanted to find the best special edition for cheap and Gameseek had it for £36.95 and I had a coupon off so I got it for £34.95.

The annoying this is that Sagepay the people who deal with the fucking transaction of money fucked up and didn't tell Gameseek that this customer has paid for the game, send it out to him.

So I phoned them up yesterday and they fixed the mistake and said it should hopefully come today.

It's fun watching someone else play this game after I've beaten it to see where I went wrong and how the person now playing goes horribly and hilariously wrong.

Fueling my anger over Bayonetta 2 not coming yesterday and the fact there is no mail on Sunday has helped me to beat Elvis, once again.

Hex could probably give a better detail here, but the basis is that the one on the left was a prototype. It was their concept art essentially. The one on the right is after they figured out what breaks easily when a kid throws it off a two story building, choked on a pointy bit, a parent group complained, and a bunch of manufacturing shortcuts were taken.

Am I the only one that thinks they look less like figures (professional) and more like toys(something a child would play with)? I know that kinda the point, but I really don't like the redesigns after seeing the prototypes.

RE: The Free Gaming Thread v2 : Electric Boogaloo - Hexadecimal - 10-26-2014

That's not an uncommon thing for companies to make an amazing looking prototype and then the mass produced final products are lower quality because it was cheaper for them.

I'm just really surprised they gave a Peach figurine visible pink panties... Even if it was just the prototype...

I'm not. They did it for Peach and Zelda in Melee...... in a way.

Oh man, Bayonetta 2's pretty awesome.

Learning how to Dodge Offset is very useful for continuing combos, and doing tons of damage, I keep getting Platinum on those two, but my damage fucks me over big time.

I got two gold and a platinum from the first mission, better than the demo where I got two gold and a silver.

I'm just thinking about the guy(obviously a dude) who took a picture of her knickers. Like how do you that at an event!?
Edit: Not that I'm interested in doing it myself or anything.

I actually saw this topic discussed on the show Comic Book Men when some people were either bringing in or wanting to buy these specific brand of toy figures.

It was a Chemtoy Clark Kent/Superman figure where the company completely botched the look of the character. Hell the S on his chest looked like he may have melted hot wax and used tooth picks to shape the 'S' it looks so bad.

[Image: figura-vintage-clark-kentsuperman-chemto...2014-F.jpg]

They made a joke in the episode that the President of Chemtoys must of been huffing the fumes there if he thought that piece of crap was good enough.
