Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter Trivia - NerdyBoutKirby - 03-23-2013 About the Christianity comparisons: Drawn to Life starts with the Creator, who is clearly an all-powerful deity, making the planet and everything. He creates a civilization called the Raposa, and he gives them the Book of Life -- it's worth noting that the Book of Life is an actual Christian and Jewish document. The Raposa Wilfre questioned the Creator, saying that all Raposa should be allowed to create things in the Book of Life, not just the creator. Wilfre drew in the book himself, and was then cast out of the village. He tore up the book and turned evil, his entire body consumed by darkness. He went from a respected angel to an evil entity: Satan. Satan hates God and Wilfre hates the Creator. Also, God sent Jesus to Earth to save mankind; the Creator sent the Creation Hero to save the Raposa. (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=lucifer) Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter furthers this. The Creation Hero comes back to life after being killed in the final battle, meanwhile Jesus came back to life after crucifixion. The Creator says "LET THERE BE COLOR," which is based on a well known quote from God, "LET THERE BE LIGHT." Also, in the newer ending of the game, Heather is seen praying. Mike and Heather were characters in the human world and the Raposa world; Mari and Jowee are dolls in the human world which inspired their existence in the Raposa world; who's to say the Creator, Creation Hero, Book of Life, and Wilfre weren't based on/inspired by the real world? I hope this works out and succeeds in the review process. -NerdyBoutKirby RE: Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter Trivia - ORWELL6 - 03-23-2013 Your argument is strong. Touche. |
