Digimon All-Star Rumble errors - Mass Distraction - 05-21-2015 Two little details I've noticed. The first one is that you can see Agumon from Digimon Savers/Data Squad appear in the announcement trailer for the game for a short moment, despite the fact that he does not appear in the game in any way. Here's the trailer. His digivolution animation from the anime can be seen at the 13 second mark. An agumon's an agumon, right? For anyone who isn't that into the series that might seemingly be the case but there are a few major differences. On the outside, the agumon seen in Digimon Savers is a bit sleeker, his snout is different and he has red bracers on his hands. However, where the big difference is his digivolutions that are completely different from a regular agumon's. The one used in the game is quite clearly the agumon from Digimon Adventure. Here's the original concept art of Agumon compared to his Savers counterpart. For reference, here are the wiki pages of both the agumon from Digimon Adventure and Savers. http://digimon.wikia.com/wiki/Agumon_%28Adventure%29 http://digimon.wikia.com/wiki/Agumon_%28Data_Squad%29 You can see their digivolution routes in their info boxes under their pictures. Either he was a planned character/skin (even though there are no alt. skins in the game) and got scrapped or the people who made the trailer just overlooked the difference. I'm leaning towards the latter. The second mistake can be found in the game itself. Gatomon, who is a Champion level digimon digivolves into the Ultimate level Angewomon, who is her natural next form. However, when this regular digivolution takes place during the story mode Gatomon shouts "Gatomon Warp Digivolve!", which is incorrect due to warp digivolution only happening when a lower level digimon evolves into a higher than normal stage, for example from a Rookie to an Ultimate. Angewomon on Gatomon's wiki page Warp Digivolution explained List of Digimon levels, in order Video of the event. It happens at about 27 seconds in. |
