Mudokon Naming Origins - CuriousUserX90 - 07-08-2015

Been curious about the naming origins in stuff in the Oddworld games, and this is what came up when asking the best person as to where Mudokons got their name from:

It appears their name is based off the Continent in Oddworld that they're native to, Mudos. Mudos is basically a slightly tweaked version of the word "Modos", which is an anagram of the word "Sodom", a city mentioned in various religious texts.

Seems many namings in the series were named after stuff from the Bible, even Abe was named after one of the heroes from it.
