Impa's Design - Hyrule Warriors - DrakeVagabond - 08-13-2016
Impa's armor were stylized with a Japanese motif. Early concept art shows that Impa's was conceptualized as a samurai, having the Naginata as a main weapon, as well as design elements from her Skyward Sword incarnation.
The variations of the Giant Blade are the Giant's Knife and the Biggoron's Sword. which are two weapons from Ocarina of Time.
Many of Impa's move and combos are likely inspired by the bodyguard/protector characters from Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors and Warriors Orochi.
