-Side scrolling beat 'em ups
-Turn based RPG's, action/adventure, stealth
-Platformers
-Pretty much everything else

Definitely platformers and rpg's. I'll always remember sitting with my brother playing games like Earthbound, LoZ: OoT, Sly Cooper, etc. Good times. I wish FPS games would get out of the spotlight already and let rpg's take over, the golden age of the FPS genre is basically over now

rpgs, action/adventure, platformers and puzzles games have always been my favourite.
I'm starting to like fps's, but some of them i just can't get into.

Platformers for sho', Jumping and shooting or just jumping, there's a simple perfection to the genre I always seem to love.

Have to go with the RPG option. Story tends to more prevalent, game play is really fun, and they usually are long which makes you feel that you got your money's worth. What's not to love?

I like action/adventure games, RPGs, whatever Pikmin is under (maybe RTS), and some FPS games.
