Donkey Kong painting, and more, in Minecraft - Kakariko Kid - 02-27-2016

First, I'd like to give credit to my younger daughter who placed a painting on a wall, made out of redstone ore, and said, "Hey Dad. Donkey Kong!" She gave me a reason to find out the origins of these paintings. So, here we go!.....

DonkeyKong. This painting is level 100 in the original Donkey Kong arcade game placed on bricks. The painting is a lower pixelated part from the full painting by Kristoffer Zetterstrand titled Kong.

Kebab. This is a painting of a kebab with the green chili peppers titled Kebab med tre pepperoni.

Aztec. This is from the map de_aztec from Counter-Strike, in a free-looks perspective painting, by Kristoffer Zetterstrand, titled de_aztec.

Alban. This is from the painting Albanian. This is almost definitely not in Albania, considering the landscape in the background is not full of snow and forests.

Plants. Paridastrad, a still life painting containing two potted plants, is Swedish for "paradise tree".

Wasteland. Although it looks like a yellow and brown bunch of pixels, a rabbit it sitting in a window that has a view of a wasteland. The painting it originates from is Wasteland.

Wanderer. This comes from the Kristoffer Zetterstrand painting, Wanderer. Zetterstrand's painting is influenced by Casper David Friedrich's painting, Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog.

Graham. Graham is the player character in the King's Quest series and is placed in a Kritoffer Zetterstrand painting titled Graham.

Pool. The original painting is titled The Pool.

Courbet. Bonjour Monsieur Courbet is the painting this originates from. This is a painting by Gustave Courbet.

Sea, a painting used in development.

Sea. This replaced the first version in Alpha 1.1.1. Both versions are based on Seaside.

Creebet is also based on Seaside, but has a creeper in place of the plant. This painting was also released in Alpha 1.1.1 like the second, more colorful version, of Sea.

Match. This is a pixelated version of the painting by the same name. The original painting shows a hands lighting a pixelated fire with a match.
