Building a Gaming PC - Boyobmas - 02-27-2016 So I'm currently trying to get a job and figure the first thing I want to save up for was a good Gaming PC. Now I've worked with my Dad (Who has spent years building gaming PCs) to find some decent specs. I wanted to build something that would at least match/outpreform a PS4/XBONE. Here's the important stuff: CPU: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition MOTHERBOARD: GIGABYTE GA-990FX GRAPHICS CARD: XFX Radeon R9 380X Just want to get some second opinions/suggestions for building as well as advice for a first-time owner of a gaming PC. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! RE: Building a Gaming PC - SERIOUSLY THOUGH - 02-27-2016 A useful piece of advice I read whilst studying for my build was that your PC will run pursuant to the lowest denominator. A brilliant rig will be throttled by a mediocre motherboard, for example.
