Beedle has been spotted. Maybe. No confirmation yet, but hopefully he is in the game.

Now, where do we find Tingle?

Wow. I wonder if other characters from the other zelda games would show up if that's the case.

Backstory to Zelda: Breath of the Wild is on the back of the map in Sheikah. It was translated from Sheikah to Japanese to English and this is the story...
WARNING: SPOILERS if you want to discover the story for yourself.

So, I'm stuck between choices:

1. Go ahead and read it. I bet one of your theories or the theories you've read are probably correct.

2. No, no, no,  no, no. Baby no. It's gonna ruin the adventuring/exploring/discovering experience.

Don't do it ! It's so much better to discover it piece by piece. (and you also get the satisfaction of not having given in to temptation, scoring some biblical points or something right there)

RE: Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Kakariko Kid - 01-17-2017

^ Yeah, I'm leaning more toward that point of view, but biblical points probably would have won me over.

RE: Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Kakariko Kid - 01-17-2017

Aside from the Wii U version taking 13 GB to download, a person will need 3GB to install. I'm assuming that with the download AND physical copy.

RE: Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Colossus - 01-17-2017

Not gonna lie. I watched the trailer 3 times before I went to bed last night and teared up every single time. The 2nd time, I sat there and just looked in the background and thought "Holy shit. I can just... walk over to that mountain peak..." or "I wonder what's that way off in the distance... wait I can go see what's off in the distance!"
It hit me REALLY hard last night that, this ain't no Ocarina of Time open world bullshit. This is 100% GO WHERE EVER THE HELL YOU WANNA GO! type of Zelda.

RE: Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Kakariko Kid - 01-18-2017

Breath of the Wild map is bigger than Skyrim.

RE: Zelda: Breath of the Wild - RepentantSky - 01-18-2017

I am so sick of that comparison. "It's bigger than Skyrim, isn't that amazing!?" Answer no, Skyrim is constantly aging and what it did back when it was released is going to be outdone, plain and simple. It's to be expected, and comparing the size of every open world game to it is stupid and annoying. Bigger and better is an expectation as times goes on, so let the past be the past, and let new games with open worlds be their own thing, without having to compare to an older game. Skyrim is not the end all be all that people think it is.

RE: Zelda: Breath of the Wild - CLXcool - 01-18-2017

After watching the breathe of wind switch trailer, I can safely say that this game really has the Hayo Miyakzai influence in it.

Wew lad, pacify your jimmies.
As far as I'm concerned, the article posted makes no allusion to "bigger is better."

Using Skyrim and other game maps as a unit of comparative measurement makes much more sense than just giving measurements in KMs or miles. Skyrim is an excellent base measurement because so many people have played it, and are familiar with it.

Agreed. I just started playing Skyrim this week and I am very, very impressed by the size and detail of what I have seen so far. If bigger were better, I think it would be safe to assume that Nintendo could have made a map the size of the one in Daggerfell with cut-backs on graphics and vastly varying landscapes.
