Limited/Special Releases Alert - Hexadecimal - 08-19-2016 Sometimes it can be hard to keep track of any special editions/limited time offers when it comes to game releases. I thought we could all help each other to not miss anything by listing stuff like that here. It's heartbreaking how scalpers end up asking triple the cost and you have no choice after the game is sold out. In this case, I'd like to let everyone know REZ Infinite for the PS4 can only be found here: http://store.iam8bit.com/collections/rez-infinite/products/rezinfinite-ps4physicalgame I by chance saw it while browsing Reddit. It sounds like a pretty limited run, so I would get it right away if you're even slightly interested. RE: Limited/Special Releases Alert - retrolinkx - 08-19-2016 Hmm, thanks for this. I might have to grab this up before it's sold out. I do want to play Rez, not sure if I should snatch that up for £30 or so. It's a bit too much considering I could get it for cheap on the PS2 or even on Steam. If I could get it slightly cheaper, I'll get it for sure. Thanks anyhow, I might bite the bullet at £30. You've got a bit of time to think. Someone claims that there's 6500 of them available and I see this as something that will be slow to sell out but then impossible to find later on. It will be available to download for a bit cheaper on the PSN store as well, but I'm all about those physical copies myself. If it helps influence you, this version does have a new level added. Otherwise I think it is just Rez with enhanced graphics. RE: Limited/Special Releases Alert - Kakariko Kid - 08-20-2016 I posted this in Buy Stuff Thread , but I'll re post it here, also. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS was re-selling for $40 USD or more for a USED copy. It was re-released as a Nintendo Select and is available for $20 USD. RE: Limited/Special Releases Alert - Mass Distraction - 08-22-2016 Yomawari, the japanese mythology influenced cutesy horror game for Vita and PC, has a pretty awesome limited edition going for it on Nippon Ichi's online store. At first it was only in the American store but now it's thankfully available in the European store too. For pretty much the price of a singe new game ($60) you get this: Two games for one, as The Firefly Diary also comes with this one. Soundtrack and an artbook for BOTH games, an art print with both games' characters in it and a thermos mug whose image changes with heat. The steam version comes with all this but the Vita game has a reversible cover to represent both games, which I think is nice. http://store.nisamerica.com/preorders/yomawari The European version also comes with a mouse mat (sold seperately on the US store) most likely because of it being slightly more expensive due to conversion rates. http://store.nisaeurope.com/collections/limited-edition/products/yomawari-night-alone-htol-niq-the-firefly-diary-limited-edition RE: Limited/Special Releases Alert - ZpaceJ0ck0 - 08-24-2016 Aksys Games have announced a limited edition for BlazBlue: Central Fiction. Featured below, the new limited edition comes with the following goodies: Deluxe Hardcover Art Book — Contains 100 pages of BlazBlue art celebrating the history of gaming’s flashiest 2D fighting series! Mini Noel Vermillion Nendoroid Figure — Supervised by Toshimichi Mori and forged by the masters at Good Smile. Noel strikes an iconic pose, sure to mesmerize collectors and fans alike! BlazBlue Song Interlude III Soundtrack — Ten tracks of in-game goodness bound to up your fighting drive! It’s worth pointing out this new edition will only be available in North America. Aksys Games also confirmed that newly playable character Es will be made available post-launch via DLC, entirely for free during the first two weeks after the game’s launch. RE: Limited/Special Releases Alert - ZpaceJ0ck0 - 10-07-2016 Tales of Berseria Western Release Date, Collector’s Edition Announced RE: Limited/Special Releases Alert - RepentantSky - 10-08-2016 (10-07-2016, 05:48 PM)Space Jockey Wrote: Tales of Berseria Western Release Date, Collector’s Edition Announced I was actually gonna post this one. It's pretty cool. It has a steelbook, presumably two artbooks because the strategy Guide is also an artbook. There was also a few keychains and two figures like the ones from Tales of Zestiria, and I think it was 8 trading cards if I remember correctly. The only downside, is that it costs about 20 bucks more than the one for Zestiria did but I can't say I'm surprised given the two other Collector's Edition's I'm about to talk about. Here's the SAO Collector's Edition: http://gematsu.com/2016/07/sword-art-online-hollow-realization-ps4-collectors-edition-announced-north-america Long story short, the game comes with a Steelbook, Artbook, the game with it's own case presumably, a Blu-ray that I don't know much of the details about, Mini-posters and Decal sheets of characters from the game, and the icing on the cake, two 6 inch figures, one of Kirito and one of Asuna. Overall cost is 149.99 USD which comes out to 161.99 USD after tax, more if you ship it. Next is the Dragonball Xenoverse 2 Collectors Edition: http://www.gamespot.com/articles/heres-the-150-dragon-ball-xenoverse-2-collectors-e/1100-6441607/ This one, although also priced at 149.99 USD comes with the game, the steelbook, a Time Patrollers Guide which is presumably a strategy Guide or Artbook that's a hard cover and a 13 inch figure of Goku with his torn Gi in Super Sayian form from the Master Stars figure creators. It somehow has less content but is priced the same as the SAO collectors Edition. Go figure that one. I feel like I don't need to mention it, but talking about these kind of got me in the mood to bring up the Take Your Heart Edition of Persona 5: http://www.pushsquare.com/news/2016/06/persona_5s_collectors_edition_will_steal_your_heart_and_wallet This one comes with a Music CD for the game, a 4 inch Morganna Plush, a Steelbook, a Hardcover book which is again presumably an Artbook and an actual school bag like the one from the game. Honestly this is probably the best deal out there because of it's asking price of 89.99 USD. That's all the ones I can think of off-hand, but yeah, Good stuff coming our way, and half of it within a month, and the rest only about 4 months off, unless of course the release dates are different for those you in the UK, which I know isn't the case with at least Persona 5.
