Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith - TK8252 - KnowledgeBase - 09-18-2016

In the end cut-scene of the second level "Asteroid Crust" in the expansion pack for Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith, a Stormtrooper with the call sign TK8252 will report back about presumably eliminating Kyle Katarn.

The cut-scene starts at 22:24 in the video.

According to Ryan Kaufman, one of the game's designers, TK8252's call sign was named by him after the phone call extension of LucasArts' employee and lead level designer on the game, Kevin Schmitt. Later, Kaufman would recite the dialogue from the cut-scene when he needed to remember the call extension.
