Unfortunately, many people do and they don't understand that each different person is affected in different spectrums and levels. I don't think Jocko meant any offense and I had no clue. I have a brother-in-law who is believed to be autistic by most of us in our family. His parents wouldn't ever have him diagnosed. He does well, though. He's in college to become an engineer and he is an Eagle Scout.

Eh, to be completely honest, I don't really identify myself with any fictional character. If anything, I could probably agree with a character about certain subjects or some of his life experiences could be similar to that of mine. But to the point of saying "whoah, that dude/lady is pretty much me"? Nah.

Wait, let me ponder even further...
