Sadly, not me. Not that I wouldn't have loved to, but no one was selling the thing anywhere that I could get it, so now I'm gonna have to wait until Amazon has one I can order. That said, it's not the worst timing for that, I've already clocked in nearly 40 hours of Horizon Zero Dawn, and I see no reason to believe I don't have at least 30 more in me, and by the then NieR: Automata will be out, so plenty to keep me occupied until I can get it. Actually to, if it doesn't become available until April sometime, that wouldn't bother me either, because I have four games I'm picking up that month.
It seems that FOR SOME REASON video game developers decide to launch all of the good games at the same time.
I canceled my pre-order for Horizon because of Zelda.

Also, I'm placing my Friend Code in my signature if anyone wants to add.

That does seem to happen a lot doesn't it? I don't think I would have canceled my pre-order either way, but I can see why you might. The games are actually, from what I can tell, fairly similar and no matter how good they are, that's a lot of hours to put into two games. especially in a month like this where every major system has at least one huge came coming out, be they exclusive or not, and April is really no better in that sense.

I'll be honest. I'll wait a bit until I can get myself a switch. I'm a bit broke at the moment.

I will be picking up horizon eventually, but I can wait till it's on sale instead of paying the 60 for a game that's going to sit on my shelf since I don't have time for it. I bought too many games that I payed full price for but never got to them

Five classic Neo Geo games two be ported to the Nintendo Switch

RE: Nintendo Switch - Colossus - 03-04-2017

I'll say this. The Pro Controller.
It's $70 USD.
It looks like a cheap POS during promoting the system that might be 2lbs.
In person it looks good. It's heavy. It's sexy. It feels amazing.
When Nintendo makes a Pro Controller, they do it GOOD.
Just like the Wii U, it lasts for 40 hours of gameplay.
Not sitting there in a drawer for a year not being touched and you go to it dead. It's kicking at full power baby.
Have extra cash laying around? Thinking about buying 1 2 Switch?
WRONG! Get a Pro Controller and step up your game foo!
(1 2 Switch will probably be a $20 used game in 2 months anyways)

I need to get a Pro Controller, but every time I'm online and ready to buy it, it disappears from my cart and is out of stock.

I did get my Switch yesterday, though. I think I'll be hooking it up tonight.

PSA: I beleve a lot of the system issues are from people using random USB outlets to charge their systems. Make sure that the output outlet has the correct amps! Not all USB outlets are the same.

RE: Nintendo Switch - Colossus - 03-10-2017

I CRACKED THE CODE! Okay, I didn't crack any code, nor found the solution to the left Joy-con. HOWEVER I did do some testing. I brought the system with me to work today and tested both Joy-cons in the warehouse. I was able to get 100 feet with no problem with both Joy-Cons and no antenna mod.
I brought it home and hooked it up to my TV. Let me grab my tape measure....
22 feet and complete disconnection.
Let's take it out of the dock. 30 feet away, a wall in between me and the switch un-docked... slight connection issues.

The dock is one of the problems!
Now why would I be able to still connect to my Switch at work 100 feet away? Large room, only electronics are the lights really, small wi-fi signal.
At home, there's a lot to create issues with signals.  When I was testing at work, I did keep the Joy-Con BEHIND my back the whole time I tested to create interference. I even had my coworkers stand in front of the switch to block the signal as well.
At home, the Joy-Con was in front of me.
This blob of solder is the antenna. You can solder a wire to it and bend it to the bottom to fix this issue, however I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS to anyone who doesn't know how to solder and work with electronics.
The ribbon cable that you need to remove is a pain in the ass to put back in (damaging this cable can put you back quite a bit of cash) and the battery plug will come apart if you don't know what you are doing.

This is the video to fix the antenna issue.

RE: Nintendo Switch - Colossus - 03-14-2017

So I was up late last night, playing the switch of course, and I thought of a great idea. The parental controls should have a "you are done at this time" option right?
So I downloaded the parental controls app to try it out but NOPE! Just a time limit.
Nintendo, you should do a "system is shut down by this time" mode for us unresponsive adults!

RE: Nintendo Switch - Kakariko Kid - 03-14-2017

Got my Pro Controller. It's great.

You can see if your dock is bent via the penny trick.
my dock is bent but no issues tbh

RE: Nintendo Switch - Colossus - 07-19-2017

Oh Nintendo. You had such promise, but you have failed us once again.
With the new online app there are a TON of issues. Here are a few.
1. Phone screen needs to be on ALL the time (time for dead batteries)
2. Does not go into landscape mode.
3. Cannot close out of the app otherwise you get disconnected.
4. Text message come through? Notification pop up? Short disconnection.
5. If you play Splatoon 2 and split up into two teams, you are disconnected until you hit the connect button on your phone to join into your team.
6. As of now, only Splatoon 2 will work. Mario Kart, Arms, and any online games do not work.
Here is a 15 minute video with GameXplain and using the app.

Solution? Discord for chat. I made a new server for the Nintendo Switch.

Invite your friends. As long as everyone is chill and nothing negative goes down we can go without restrictions. Rooms can be added as time goes on.

So yeah I bought a Switch and I was wrong about this machine, it's awesome"!

RE: Nintendo Switch - Kakariko Kid - 09-29-2017

I've read about a game that's supposed to be a mix of Earthbound and Golf. Golf Story or something like that and it's recommended by the review I read. I guess I'll check it out.
