Lots of news dropped today, let's summarize it - RepentantSky - 01-17-2017

So a lot of things were dropped so far today and it's kind of hard to keep track of it all, so let me try to put all into on thread so hopefully everyone can see everything I did.

First off, in a weird move, Aksys games and Falcom Studios have announced how they will be handling Tokyo Xanadu for at least North America, and it's really strange. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2017/01/17/action-rpg-tokyo-xanadu-coming-to-ps4-and-ps-vita-this-year/

So basically there are two different collectors editions, and the PS4 version of the game will include extra content, a sort of, international edition of the game, to release just months after the PS Vita version. That seems a little odd, but to each their own I suppose.

Next, the news of another Danganronpa game that was originally for the Vita has been announced for the PS4 outside of the edition coming at a later time that will include the first two games. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2017/01/17/danganronpa-another-episode-brings-despair-to-ps4-on-june-27/

This one is pretty straight forward, it's just the Vita version of the game being ported to the PS4. This isn't like the other games though, it's more centered on battle, so it's different, but if you want it, it'll be out on June 27th.

A game called Perception is now coming to PS4. It's made by the some of the same people who worked on Bioshock: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2017/01/17/perception-coming-to-ps4/

To be honest, I had not heard of this game before so I'm not really sure if it's new or a port, but it does sound interesting based on this article.

Let's end with two more stories. If you are a fan of Power Rangers, most notably MMPR, the original, a 2D fighting game has just released on Xbox: https://majornelson.com/2017/01/17/sabans-mighty-morphin-power-rangers-mega-battle-is-now-available-for-xbox-one/?linkId=33482908 The game is also on PSN.

And finally, I already mentioned it in my thread about Fire Emblem, but the time for the Direct for Tomorrow has been confirmed for 2 P.M. Pacific, 5 P.M. Eastern. You'll need to figure out your time zone from that if you want to Watch it live.

So that's everything, what are you most excited about? Personally, I still really want Tokyo Xanadu, but it's hard to justify a Purchase of it on my PS Vita which is a shame. Anywhoitzers, let's talk about all this junk because man, a lot got dumped on us today.

Edit: GameXplain dropped a video that I saw right after finishing all this that gives more details on Super Mario Odyssey: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRKNLQddVro
