RE1.5 stuff - Mass Distraction - 01-25-2017 Since I can't directly link to wikias anymore I'll just make an image gallery of pictures that I took from said wikias because they are literally the only places that gather these images in one useful place. Oh yeah, the trivia. In the prototype of RE2, aka RE1.5, Leon and Elza were able to equip multiple types of armor with extra holsters etc. These armors included a U.S.S. (Umbrella Security Service) armor for Leon and an R.P.D. (Raccoon Police Department), both of which obviously being something these characters would normally not be seen wearing, since Elza is a student, not a cop, and Leon is a rookie cop, not an Umbrella operative. These armor pieces were also something that could get damaged if enough hits were taken from enemies, which is something that was not in the finished game (source: I've played it. A lot.). Below are Elza and Leon's model pieces from the game files (with R.P.D. armor on, Leon's being a special piece), complete with the damage models to them on the right. Images courtesy of RE Wiki. Leon's U.S.S. outfit (only concept art). Image from Project Umbrella, basically a wiki site. Elza's model wearing the R.P.D. outfit. Image from RE1.5 dedicated wiki. And finally here's a picture of all the outfits, including both characters' normal attires. Image from google, dunno. And finally a wiki link that bundles all this nicely together: http://residentevil15.wikia.com/wiki/Costume_Change_System#cite_note-novbuild-1 Yeah, they're all wiki links, and I'm sorry for that, but I honestly don't have the time to start recording videos of specific parts of certain games, especially when the versions available are rather glitchy. I'm adding links for clarity but I'm assuming anyone who has ever once played Resident Evil knows what, for example, those abbreviations mean. |
