Ever noticed the Similarities between the 2, as shown in these videos:
Here's the alternate blue palette of Phan Phan from Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land who replaces Rolling Turtle from the Original NES Game:
Here's Phanpy from the Pokemon series:
Both of them incorporate the "Phan" part from Elephant, and they're both based off Elephants. I also attached a screenshot that features a Back to Back Comparison of the 2.
