There needs to be a rule for all households that no gamer should be interrupted(unless if its a complete emergency) while fighting a boss battle in a video game. I got interrupted three times today when I was fighting the Water temple boss from OOT. Third time being the strike that set the flame off of rage(my mother had such bad timing on such things). What was worse about it was that she had to pull the plug on the gamecube.

Oh wow. Why, if I may ask?

It's not just boss battles either when those things happen. Someone could just casually pop up and start talking to you in the middle of a cutscene. Then you tell them to be quiet for a few minutes and they act like you hurt their feelings or something. Can't you people see I'm watching something?! Your story about a funny thing said on the radio can wait a few goddamn minutes more. I'm not gonna disturb you when you are watching a movie so the same shoud apply here.

My mother wanted to record the next episode of Big Bang Theory, plus she wanted me to do something that dad didn't do when she asked him. Needless to say. I was not pleased that I had to give her a five minute lecture on being interrupted on when I was in the middle of the game. And the fact that I worked my butt off to make it this far. Can't a guy get some time to himself? Sheesh.

Oh yes mass. I'd heavily approve of that rule. Keep your damn mouth shut so I can hear whats happening in the game during the cutscene.

I don't like it in games when you have to grind a lot post-game for some far off event.

Bleh. Unless I keep playing for the next few years I'll never reach the top levels of Awesomeness in Rayman. I've always sucked at every video game I've ever played, so I won't ever get the Platinum Cups that are worth 50 points. The best I can get is Gold, and they're only worth 10. I think I need 2,000 more points for the next level and I don't know how many are left after that.

Don't feel bad Hex, there are games in my collection that have trophies that are in no way possible for my level of skill. The patience required is immense in my view. I'm not the most patient or people or gamer. I love sneaking games and playing assassins or snipers in games because I can get baddies from a distant but fuck me if I can't always stay calm when shit gets real or I miss and alert every NPC that wants to kill me in the area.

So I just get the trophies or cups or achievements I want or can get and be happy about that.

Oh my gosh.

Yesterday I got an error on my PS4. Its a known error but they never fixed it. But, unlike other errors, If you get it, you lose all the data in the game you were currently playing. I was playing Injustice: Gods among us, and I lost all my exp points. (I never started single player yet, so atleast I didnt lose anything there.) It got me so mad because I worked for 3 whole days to get to level 17.

I'm kinda mad at United Front Games and Square Enix right now. In 2013 they announced Sleeping Dogs: Triad Wars and said more would be revealed in 2014. I get that game development takes a while and 2014 isn't over yet, but I was really expecting to see more for it at E3. That would be the most logical way to present it.

They may be saving it for other conventions that are coming up. E3 may be the biggest convention of the year for game news and what not, but there are other ones too. Keep in mind they only get so much stage time to announce X amount of games so they can only reveal so much at a time.

They may announce it for TGS or some other game con.

...I did extremely well in a Rayman challenge. It froze while saving at the results screen. My score wasn't counted. Fuck. That.

I know pain like that all too well. Imagine spending 10+ hours playing a game on its hardest difficulty, and then having the completion not count.

The paranoia the second time is almost as bad.

You know you just got royally screwed with if your game freezes after you beat a part that took you days/weeks/months to get to.

Yeah... Reminds me of when I was playing Animal Crossing and saved one of my Villagers from moving. But I accidently forgot to save and now she's gone.

Reminds me of a time where I got half way through one of the Fire Emblems when I got off, and got back on later. On mission 8.
