Yesterday, a piece of trivia I had submitted for Mario Party 2 had finally been approved and posted to this site after 11 months of waiting. Now, I was browsing around this site and I noticed I had one less piece of trivia posted according to my account and the post about why the game no longer has minigames that require spinning the control stick around in circles was now completely missing.
I now have two questions in light of this.
1: Does anyone know what happened to this post? The permalink used to be https://www.vgfacts.com/trivia/11556/
2: Has anyone else recent had trivia they had submitted and posted to the site removed with no explanation?

I don't know. I guess your trivia was already submitted on this site and somebody reported on that.
