Cloud Strife originally meant to be in Soul Calibur 2 - Takahashi2212 - 10-24-2017
According to Soul Calibur 2's localization producer Nao Higo, Cloud Strife was originally meant to be the guest character in the PS2 version of Soul Calibur 2. However, the deal fell through at the last minute.

Just to clear any confusion, Takahashi2212 would not have known this was already submitted if it was a direct submission with one source other than a trivia evidence thread.

Which is why I made that post in the first place. I wanted to let him know so that his submission doens't get rejected because of "same trivia".
