Saints Row the Third - Arjahn - 04-20-2013
So, I picked up Saints row the third and am having a lot of fun with it, what do you think of the game, and does anybody want to do some co op over steam?

Personally, I think it isn't as good as the second one. The second one had a nice blend of seriousness and silliness, while this one just seems to abandon any serious moments. Saints Row and its sequel seemed to understand how to make a good GTA clone without it feeling like a clone, while also making its own identity and still being tremendous amounts of fun. While the third game also does not feel like a GTA clone, it however does not feel like its predecessors, and more like a game from an entirely different series.
Maybe it's just me, but Saints Row the Third just isn't as good or as entertaining as the first two games. It's still a good game, just not as good. Again, maybe it's just me or maybe it's because I (quoting from my dorm mates from my previous college) "hate fun."

I liked Saints 2 better, but I played it on my bro's computer. Saints 3 is still good, but it isn't nearly as rewarding, losing the flare, at first being really hard, then very quickly becoming almost impossible to lose at.
Also, I'll join ya on Saints 3 any time ya ask and I am not busy. Was on it with Matt other day and its really fun in co-op, though I kind of had him running everywhere.

Saints Row 3 was meh. I did enjoy the story and the gameplay was fine and all but Saints Row 2 is way better just because of map size, things you can do and the story was better than Saints Row 3.

I know most prefer the second game, and for good reasons but I had WAY more fun with The Third. With Saints Row 2 there was plenty more to do but I found myself avoiding a lot of them because they weren't fun, then I got to The Third and it's one of the few games I've ever really gotten 100% on.

True also I think the Diversions were more fun in Saint's 3...I mean come on who the hell make's a guy drive around town with an angry tiger in the front seat, that and I honestly think Saint's 3 play's better then 2.

I love it, GTA became to sluggish for me and the silly sandboxyness of this game entertains me somethin' good.

meh am done with saints row. I Liked it when they were a classic street gang. Now their like an army that crushes anything. Game is wayyy too easy
