Bass is based on Hulk Hogan - DrakeVagabond - 06-03-2020 Bass is heavily influenced by real-life wrestler Hulk Hogan, both in his design and moves.  In one of his win poses in DOA2, Bass holds his hand up to his ear, which is a reference to Hogan's iconic pose.  In another win pose in DOA2, Bass slaps his rear end, which is a reference to one of Hogan's signature taunts.  In DOA5, Bass' masked persona "Mr. Strong" is based on Hulk Hogan's alter ego "Mr. America".
