Hello VGFacts. This isn't supposed to be taken in offense in anyway, but, is this site and DYKG used for money? Sorry, but one of my friends from Skype wanted to know, and he was too lazy to ask anywhere else. I thought this place was the perfect place to ask, and I hope it is.

It depends on what your friend means. The site does make money from advertisers (which is why we really appreciate you white-listing us on AdBlock!) but the vast majority of that income is used to pay for costs like the server it's being hosted on, among other various site-related expenses.
I'm curious though - what makes your friend ask?

The advertisements on DidYouKnowGaming content cover my living costs so that I can work on the site full time.

I don't think many gaming sites are made for money, but rather if they become successful they're maintained for money.
