Pink Floyd reference in Deltarune - game4brains - 10-08-2021 In Chapter 2 of Deltarune, the player can access a recruits menu listing bios for every enemy that they successfully spared throughout the game, including enemies fought in Chapter 1. One of these enemies is the Ruddin, based on the diamond playing card suit, and its recruit bio ends with the sentence "Shine on, you lazy diamond!" This appears to be a riff on the title of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", a song by British progressive rock group Pink Floyd. The song was originally released in two halves on their 1975 album Wish You Were Here, bookending the record. The sentence in Deltarune is worded particularly enough for it to be plausibly inferable as a reference to the Pink Floyd song.
