Hi everybody! I'm Peach_Cookie! I'm young and handsome and full of spirit! I somehow found this forum by clicking on the "forum" button from the DYKG web page (I'm still wondering if I was redirected to the right forum lol) but either way, hello! I'm a student, and I'm into digital media. Pleased to be here! Not sure if there's anything much else to be said, but I'm always open to questions.

Anyway, peace out ya'll.

Welcome Peachy. DYKG is apart of VGFacts, so yes, you are in the right place. Take some time and read some facts on this site or just stop by and shoot the breeze with us. Hope you stay for a while.

So... Am I too late for the welcoming party? WELCOME! Have a torch. I hear we'll be barbequing a newbie today and... Wait, uh, nevermind. Go have fun at the buffet table.

Hello everyone!

My name is Whitley. I'm a 25 years old who recently graduated from college with a major in Animation. I've been a gamer since I was 7 and started off with Super Mario Bros. on the NES and went on from there. My gaming pallet is a bit limited (mom wouldn't let me buy my own video games let alone actually buy one for me), so if there are any games that you all think I should try out just shout 'em out. My favorite gaming genres are fighting games, platformers, survival horrors, and RPGs.

My hobbies are singing, drawing (fanart mostly but I can draw other things as well), and writing (fan fictions).

That's all I have to say for now, but, yeah...sup? :P

Hi Whitley. Welcome to the team. Hope you stay a while.

To help you build up your "gaming pallet," you should start with the basics (Zelda, Kirby, Mario) but since you have favorite genres, we can skip those. Just guessing at what systems you own, you should try Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, and Sly Cooper for Ps2 (or PS3 so you can get the collections). Dragon Quest 8 is a good game. By fighting games do you mean like Tekken? If so, than Soul Calibur is good to play. As for Survival Horror, I have yet to play any of them. Try Clock Tower (and the spiritual sequel, Haunting Ground) and Silent Hill.

Horror and fighters, eh? Good choices. Platformers and RPGs are great too. Welcome and have a nice one.
