Rest in piece.

Did something happen or it just simply doesn't work? I just find that odd since I still have the original Pokemon cartridges that are still going strong.

Save data error.

It's a pretty common especially with Pokemon Black.

That seems to be the main fault in every Pokémon game, for some reason or the other.

What would be a good Pokemon game to start Nuzlocking on? I know all of the rules by far and with so many games to choose from, I don't really have a clue.

While not my favorite Generation, I had the most fun doing Nuzlockes with Gen Three due to their being more variety within each route.

I'd say Fire Red or Leaf Green. Those are new yet simple enough to not get screwed. You'll also save yourself from thinking whether to do the post game or not since there is none :D

I think 100% of gamers will be super-fit in 20 years time if this technology becomes widespread.

RE: Pokemon Thread! - SuperMasterGamer - 04-23-2014

Started a new file in Emerald and I'm up to the first gym.

Team right now:

Treecko (Gex) - Level 12
Princess (Taillow) - Level 10

So I just lost my Gastly called Rorschach to a goddamn Drowzee because A: I didn't know which level they learn Confusion on and B: I forgot Gastly is half poison, thus weak against psychic. I wasn't too down about it though as I had only recently gotten him and this was the first battle I was fighting with him without switching out to another pokemon. What pissed me off though was the knowledge that now I can't evolve him into all those cool pokemans.

Coincidentally I caught a Drowzee on the next route despite all the other cool things I could've seen there. I had built a hatred for all things Drowzee so I named her Dickface and sent to PC, from which she will never emerge again.

Just to prove a point on how much I don't want to use her I'm gonna start training my Zubat, Lumpette, instead.

Comes complete with it's own Monster Energy green and black design.

Gonna start my Leafgreen nuzlocke tonight.

Which starter should I start with?

You should do what ProJared did. Roll a die and if it's 1-2 pick Charmander, 3-4 Bulbasaur and 5-6 Squirtle.

I was thinking of doing that but I didn't have a die on me.

You can always flip a coin.
2 Heads = Charmander
1 Head 1 Tail = Bulbasaur
2 Tails = Squirtle

Either that or look up a virtual dice roller.

RE: Pokemon Thread! - SuperMasterGamer - 04-24-2014

Alright, so I have started my LeafGreen and I already hated it. No one died fortunately, but it might happen soon. Anyway, team.

Squirtle (Perry) - Level 10
Prince K (Pidgey) - Level 7
Mothra (Metapod) - Level 7

I'm at Pewter City at the moment.
