Oh. They're just doing little teases now. I see.

I'm curious see how the game will look, but I don't think I'll buy it. Just my opinion, but I really thought Team Magma and and Team Aqua are the stupidest Pokemon villains in the whole games. It really doesn't occur to them that we'd all be screwed if the world was either 100% water or 100% earth?

(I hope I'm remembering what their deals were correctly. If not, please correct me)

So... How rare were shinies, again? Because I just caught the second shiny within a couple days from the previous. Now I have a shiny Tentacool AND a shiny Geodude.

Since he release of Pokebank, they've become completely worthless. Pre-Bank Pokemon X/Y they were highly sought after. But with the release of Pokebank (and constant access to Pokecheck) you could keep downloading them. Not to mention you can cheat them with with 3DS Powersaves.

Guess I should've mentioned I'm playing Soul Silver with a DS that has no online capabilities whatsoever.

It's not like I'm going to ever be trading these anyway, I meant to ask how rare are they supposed to be in the wild.

Ah OK. It's a 1/8192. Extremely rare, so you've been pretty fortunate.

It's very exciting.

RE: Pokemon Thread! - Zaliphone - 05-24-2014

I've finally beaten Pokemon X and I am very pleased. It was a fantastic experience and time well spent, I haven't really played a Pokemon game since gen 3, though I dabbled in 4, and I really saw the improvements.

But most of all, the coolest thing was discovering the Pokemon that I had never heard of or seen before. It was like being a child again, thinking "That guy looks dumb" or "That one has a silly name" or "I like that this one because it's purple".

It makes me excited to just melt into pure nostalgia when Omega Ruby comes out.

So, Pokemon's official timeline has been announced.

RE: Pokemon Thread! - Ghost Nappa - 06-01-2014

So I started using Battle Spot on Pokemon X and Y today and I can confirm that I suck. Never won a battle. I didn't even knock out a single Pokemon. I battled multiple times hoping I could at least win one battle. Never happened. I'm just gonna stick with the regular game and not go out into the world of Battle Spot.

Let me guess... Lots of spikes and floating rocks?

You wouldn't think it'd hurt a ghost.

RE: Pokemon Thread! - MexicanAnime - 06-07-2014

New Mega Evolutions. Well.

Skeptile is disappointing since it now has 4x weakness to ice while having a useless ability that does match his stats or move set.

RE: Pokemon Thread! - Psychospacecow - 06-07-2014

I must confess. I really don't like the new character designs.
