Chaaaaaange into digital champions toooooooo save the digitial WEURLD

Those were the good days. Pokémon on SM:TV Live and Digimon on a Monday after school.

Of course there are many more cartoons that warrant mentioning, but I wanted to sing the theme tune in my head :)

Most cartoons I watched were Hanna-Barbera cartoons like Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, and some of their older cartoons like Space Ghost, Johnny Quest, and The Jetsons.

Other cartoons I went back to watch are the Steven Spielberg produced toons like Tiny Toon Adventures and "Freakazoid!".

I just bought the DVDs of the entire first series of Digimon. (The Saban/American version of Digimon Adventure 1) It's still a great show.

I like this Adventure Time show, though I started it maybe april of 2012 with no effort of chronological order so sometimes I am kind of lost.

Then there is the old Teen Titans, Foster's, Jack, pretty much all the old cartoon network line-up until chowder.

Also, they're bringing back Yu-Gi-Oh on nicktoons so that's something.

Then there's Venture Brothers, Futurama and if you count it, Robot Chicken.

RE: Favorite cartoons? - JiraiyaSennin - 03-17-2013

I really loved Batman Beyond; Ed, Edd, n Eddy; and well pretty much everything on CartoonNetwork before 2006.

Thanks, Cody, You reminded me of a show I love. For some reason, I forgot about it...

RE: Favorite cartoons? - supersquid64 - 03-17-2013

I remember watching shows like Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog and The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. They were always quite a laugh.

The more recent shows I've been watching have been shows like Adventure Time and Young Justice, but I don't really watch that many modern cartoons.

RE: Favorite cartoons? - Klonoa - 03-17-2013

The best cartoons in my opinion are Invader Zim, Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Dexter's Laboratory, Billy and Mandy, Johnny Bravo, Sonic SATAM, Ed Edd n' eddy, Animaniacs, Cow and Chicken and Spongebob pre-movie.

I don't really like modern cartoons, with the exception of Futurama and MLP:FiM I have felt that they have not really bothered to make anything good, most cartoons may be for kids, but with the older ones at least you got a sense of the makers wanting to make a good show (Animaniacs, Sonic SATAM) or they were having fun when making it (Ren and Stimpy)

RE: Favorite cartoons? - Hexadecimal - 03-17-2013

^ I wanted to get Rocko's Modern Life on DVD but Nickelodian wouldn't give Shout! Factory the uncensored episodes to use. I hate it enough when I accidentally buy edited releases.

RE: Favorite cartoons? - Kub - 03-17-2013

I didn't watch a lot of Toonami, it looked boring to me as a kid. However, I did watch Samurai Jack, that show was great.

RE: Favorite cartoons? - DarkTerra - 03-17-2013

My favorite cartoons that are on now would be Adventure Time, The Legend of Korra, Futurama, and Venture Time

But when I was younger it was Pokemon, Yu Gi Oh, Dragonball Z, Courage the Cowardly dog and Kids Next Door
