Question/Suggestion for videos - Mass Distraction - 09-13-2013

I was wondering, would you consider having like some kind of small credits after a DYKG/whatever video, showing the (user)names of the people who submitted the facts shown in said video?

It would be a lot of work to keep track of that for every video. It would also hurt the channel, as the longer the audience watches your videos, the more likely it is that the videos show high up in certain feeds and suggested videos. People most likely wouldn't watch the credits, lowering the audience retention percentage.

I'd rather not, honestly. Anyone who cares about that kind of stuff already comes to the site. I'd put someone's name in the description if they had a lot of trivia in the episode.

Fair enough.

Hey, how's about a general overall video for anime games, or anime games by anime publisher, like Shonen Jump for One Piece, Naruto, and Dragonball Z games.

Any chance of DYKG videos of video games based off of cartoons?

More or less what I proposed isn't it? An overall accumulative based around host, in that case Nickelodeon.

I'll be doing a 'Dragon Ball Z Games' episode with TeamFourStar at some point.

I think the names should just be in the description, just a small special thanks section.

I know the thread's old but this is relevant to it. Assuming there's going to be a new Street Fighter or Skull Girls video coming up at some point, I think I know a streamer who could voice it.

Dude runs Skull Girls and Street Fighter tourneys every weekend.

I know the thread's old but i got some ideas for future videos:

DYKG Tekken: you did Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Super Smash Bros and Killer Instinct, so why not Tekken?

DYKG God of War: It was the game that made the "hack n' slash" genre popular in the first place, along with Devil May Cry. Of course it deserves an episode.

Also, kind of different, but if you would ever want a DYKG video on speedrunning, I can write up info on technical terms in speedrunning if you would want help on that. I would think of it being presented in a similar way as the technical play Smash DYKG video from a while back. It could explain some terms popular in speedrunning, such as sequence break, damage boost, any%, etc. I feel like it would be a neat video to debut right before a big speedrunning event (such as before Summer Games Done Quick July 3-9 2016).
Just a very random thought that may not work with the channel, but I figured I would throw it out there.

Here's another question while we're reviving dead threads.

My wife and I were chatting through while waiting for one of the recent DYKG videos to buffer. How do you guys choose the presenters? At the time we thought of two or three folks we follow on YouTube who would be good presenters for various DYKG videos, and a few of them we actually have the opportunity to talk to on a semi-regular basis.
Are there any specifications one must meet (500 subscribers on YT, at least 10,000 unique views per day on their website, etc.) and who should they contact to express their interest in appearing (for lack of a better word) in a video? Do they have to be 100% gaming involved on their channel or site? We debated that point since most, if not all, of the presenters have been gaming related (which makes total sense), however a few have specialized in non-gaming things, even if they do dabble in gaming related things.
Or if there's a page I never found with this information on it that I can send the people we were talking about a link to, that'd be pretty cool, too. :)
