RE: Gaming news - Mass Distraction - 05-13-2013

So... Apparently the upcoming Ace Attorney 5 will be a download only title. Anyway, have a trailer.

CAPCOM STAHP! PLEASE!

RE: Gaming news - Mass Distraction - 05-13-2013

The sad part is that now I can't have all the games in the right order on my shelf. The future of Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney is looking grim.

RE: Gaming news - Hexadecimal - 05-13-2013

God dammit, Capcom!

I'm sorta ok with that.

Not with the bullshit prices that Nintendo put their games up for on the eStore. It's not gonna get those sales now.

RE: Gaming news - Antwan - 05-15-2013

With Phoenix Wright 5 getting a digital-only release, a lot of people are suddenly recalling that if their digital games are broken or corrupted, Nintendo will not replace them.

Not even using your Club Nintendo account, which keeps track of everything you purchase from their e-shops, is proof enough to get your stuff back for free if you get a new 3DS to replace your corrupted, stolen, or broken one. Nearly every company ever that has an online service has accounts for their customers to keep track of their purchases, except Nintendo. I love the company, but that is just appalling.

RE: Gaming news - Mass Distraction - 05-16-2013

I really, really wish they'd change their minds and give as an actual release...

They do replace it if its broken or corrupted. Just not lost or stolen. Since the requirement is you have to send it in to Nintendo.

But I agree the system is out-dated and terrible.

RE: Gaming news - Koopaul - 05-17-2013

A Nintendo Direct was today. They announced release dates for many games as showed yet another Mario and Sonic Olympic game.

RE: Gaming news - Skarro - 05-17-2013

More importantly they officially announced Sonic: Lost Worlds. A WiiU and 3DS exclusive.

Edit: Also in America New Luigi U will be $19.99 as DLC or $29.99 as a stand alone game. Nabbit is the character replacing Mario. He can't power up with items but he passes through enemies, Making him the ultimate newb character.

RE: Gaming news - A Zombie Riot - 05-17-2013

And I believe the next 3 Sonic games are exclusive to Nintendo.

Wonderful 101 has a release date of September 15th here in the states, I believe. I know in Europe it releases earlier but I don't know about anywhere else.

RE: Gaming news - Antwan - 05-18-2013

So... Sonic is officially a Nintendo character? Wow... and to think they started out as competitors right?

What a huge rip-off. I'm only buying the retail version because I know it's going to worth a shit ton in the future still sealed. Seriously, Nintendo need to lower the DLC to around £5/$5 at most!
