Aww, I feel like it work well with WiiU. This is happy news, though. I'm excited that there will be a modern way to play the game, I've heard nothing but good things about it.
Its a shame it wont come to the Wii U. I will admit. Before the remastered version of Grim Fandango was announced, I've always imagined that a remake of the game would be made for the Wii using the wii remote and nunchuck(nunchuck to move Manny around and using the wii remote to talk and use items).

They could do something like that with the PS4 and the Move but I'm sure that is no consolation to those who only have a Wii U or Wii.

Did read an article that said that the release date would be the same for all three systems; PC, Vita and PS4. So everyone can play at the same time and not have delays for one system over the other.

I don't think Double Fine has even made anything for the Wii U if I'm correct. So thats another factor to think about.

^Good point.

They haven't made anything for the Vita either, and only one thing for the PS4.

A third person MOBA made by starcraft devs where your base fights with you in an intensely stylized art style reminiscent of Wind Waker. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Another set of bonus points for miyamoto.

Not sure if anyone here is a fan of Level 5, but if you like pokemon you might be interested to find that it might have a competitor should this game go out to other countries: http://level5ia.com/news/yo-kai-watch-2-gansohonke-sells-1-3-million-copies-in-its-first-week-in-japan/

That's a lot of copies for one Country. If the games were released otherwise, from at least a selling point, Pokemon might have to compete in the handheld market.

EA continues to drop that ball of theirs

http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2014/07/30/sony-ea-access-doesn_2700_t-represent-good-value-to-the-playstation-gamer.aspx

Quote:“We evaluated the EA Access subscription offering and decided that it does not bring the kind of value PlayStation customers have come to expect,” a Sony representative told us via email. “PlayStation Plus memberships are up more than 200% since the launch of PlayStation 4, which shows that gamers are looking for memberships that offer a multitude of services, across various devices, for one low price. We don’t think asking our fans to pay an additional $5 a month for this EA-specific program represents good value to the PlayStation gamer.”

Basically, they have "pre-release" for their games which means "Starting 5 days before release, you’ll be able to try the game for at least two hours and then save your progress [...] Once you purchase the digital or physical copy, you can use your save game and continue the experience."
And Battlefield 4, Peggle 2, FIFA 14, and Madden NFL 25 are "free."

New Digimon game. It's a sequel to Digimon: Rumble Arena apparently. It's called Digimon: All-Star Rumble.

That title of the article makes me sad, since that means these guys have never heard of Rumble Arena

RE: Gaming news - Mass Distraction - 08-01-2014

WHAT??!?!?!? YES!!!!!!! This is the best thing in my life! Where can I pre-order that?! I'LL TAKE TEN!

Not sure if you can tell but I friggin' love Rumble Arena. I've been waiting for a third one for years.
