Now would be a good time to make the rest of the damn games available for the Vita!

I don't agree with it, but I see why. Nintendo did the same.

But at least Nintendo has the benefit of all DSi Ware games being available on the 3DS eShop. Sony needs to step up its game.

Sony will and Microsoft will always 1-up (bad pun intended) Nintendo.

You lose your 3DS? Well that's all your money gone with no recovery. If you lose your PSP or the service shuts down? Feel free to log in to your PS3, Vita or PS4 to download them(if they are compatible with that system).

Also, where's Flipnote Studio?
Nintendo is still far behind on their services and will continue to be for many years.

Behind or not but I still like the fact that every game they have on their eShop is available for all their systems, unlike with Sony who refuses to make the PSP library available for the Vita. This is the main reason I have not bought one myself.

I just want a gifting ability for the 3DS.

Yeah, I can imagine it already. all the kids go to School with their 3DS' to share friend codes and the rich kid buys all the games for them.

And it's just not PSP games but even some PS1 games, I can't play any of the Crash Bandicoots nor Metal Gear Solid on my Vita and it's really stupid because MGS VR Missions is available on it.

These mods have existed since the Sims 2, so I really don't see much issues coming from this.

^I'm guessing that they finally figured out about that.

Nah, Kotaku is just really click bait-y. The person who wrote that was probably well aware and looked for mods like that knowing that someone would make them.

RE: Gaming news - Mass Distraction - 09-24-2014

Counter Strike Nexon, the upcoming zombie mod for Counter Strike, is in free beta on Steam up until tomorrow morning. If you want to try the game out now's a good time to do it.

And no, you don't need a Counter Strike game to run this, it's a standalone.

Bayonetta 2 scores positive reviews

The Japanese sales tanked though. It only sold 38K units in it's opening week. Hopefully that doesn't translate worldwide.

RE: Gaming news - CLXcool - 09-25-2014

Hopefully the sales in the USA do better, otherwise its Earthbound all over again.

That's actually pretty and not what I would consider a tank. Especially considering the factors going into it.
1) The size of the Japanese gaming market
2) The number of Japanese people who own a Wii U
3) The number of Japanese people who own a Wii U that want Bayonetta.
(There's also a bit more but those 3 factors are pretty big for a games sales data).
I say it's goo because with all that said, it still sold 40K.

To put that into perspective:
Wonderful 101 (Another brilliant Platinum title) only sold 30K WORLDWIDE with only 5K in Japan in it's first week. <- That's a tank.

If Bayonetta has sold 40K in just a few days from the Japanese market alone, then the future is bright for Bayonetta. I couldn't really care about Super Smash Nerf Festival 4 but even I'm buying a Wii U just for Bayonetta.

Edit: Forgot to mention, in Europe we have a rare special edition with only 15000 produced. Instantly sold out every where. I had to order mine from France. That has pushed sales numbers up a bit too.
