RE: Gaming news - SuperFlorian12 - 01-29-2016

The prototype of a canceled Saints Row game for PSP was uploaded by the developers.

I'm not sure how playable it is as I'm still downloading it.

So, this is still being developed then. I didn't think Ubisoft was still working on it.

I'm not certain if this is true or not. But I'm taking this with a grain of salt.

Do you think we made VR gaming for any other reason?

But really, who cares. It'll satisfy the people who actually want something like this, and for everyone who doesn't, they can just not care.

Eh, let people do what they're gonna do. You have absolutely no obligation to this product or the people involved with it. If dirty deeds lead to better vr support, then that's better vr support, which doesn't have to be used for this. I'm actually really happy to see something like this on the basis that it actually does create a market for VR. Its niche , awkwardly peripheral, and expensive like the Kinect, so VR needs all the support it can get. If this product gets some nice mod support or something along the lines, all the better.

Its not like this is the first attempt at something like this anyway. Its the first attempt I've seen from people that speak English, but that's probably for lack of research on my part.
Edit : realized this was news and not general.

For those who wanted Undertale on Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, or even on the other consoles. You might get your wish since Toby's going to look into it.

That with Diablo II getting it's first patch in 5 years suggest it will become more common which I'm fine with.

Those are both Blizzard though so it isn't necessarily an indicator of the industry from a broad sense, but it is nice for Blizzard games.

Depends on how well these patches are received. If they're successful, it might convince other developers to follow suit.

RE: Gaming news - ZpaceJ0ck0 - 03-16-2016

So apparently, 3rd party games that appaears on both ps4 and xbox1 will have cross-network play via Xbox Live

To quote one of the coments (in the coments section, duh) of the page:

RE: Gaming news - Melcadrien - 03-17-2016

Well this takes the cake. Jim Sterling is being sued by a game developer he criticized.

Hasn't been the first time if I'm not mistaken.
