RE: World News - Psychospacecow - 12-09-2015

Honestly, if it wasn't for how dubious Time's Person of the Year is, I'd say good for her for being this year's one.
Other things that have been made person of the year (which is why I say dubious. Merkel ain't all that bad.)
Every single human being alive in 2006.
The Computer.
Every single Hungarian freedom fighter that failed in the 1956 uprising.
All United States Scientists.
All 1966 United States citizens under the age of 26.
The Middle Americas.
Every single woman in America.
The entire planet.
Every single US Soldier.
All protesters.
Every single person who helped combat ebola.
It seems like an honor but the requirements are pretty low all things considered. That isn't to say she didn't earn it. She's a heck of a lot better leader than the first German to make to be Person of the Year.

I enjoy respectable talk as well. I especially cherish it because no one else around my age is involved in it.

While I support Trump, I am not voting for him. I am legally not allowed to vote. However, I do love to engage myself in political talk on the side of his campaign for debate purposes (and the fact that I love him, but not the in the weird sense). This election has given me a great example of what future elections could very well look like. This is the first election that I can really involve myself in, as I do not remember too many facts about previous elections (although I do remember voting in 4th grade on election at school, but I believe the write-in candidate by the name of Elmo won). In addition, with what outrage and controversy the GOP frontrunner has caused, it has set up a record of sorts for me to compare future elections with.

However, if we want to get off the trite topic of Mr. Trump, I'd like to bring up Rubio and Cruz. They've been steadily sneaking up in the polls, all while neck-and-neck with each other. Those who were high up in the polls early on, and seen as "likelys" by the media have fallen dramatically, but this has been in favor to the youngest of the candidates. I haven't done too much research on Rubio, but I like Cruz. I especially like his plan to implement the fair tax.

I've been somewhat removed for a few weeks, but I did like Paul. I'm a libertarian which plays a part in that.

I would love for Merkel to follow the UK in considering banning Trump. It'd be hilarious.

[conspiracy]What if Trump is actually there to be so flipping outrageous that everything the other republican candidates say will be construed as sane ?[/conspiracy]

Edit : I suggest that a cavalcade of cars drive through their wedding in an incessant loop blaring their horns and playing loud Biebers.

Truth be told. traffic's so bad normally that I would've never noticed. Would send gas bill if were on road though.

Yeah, saw that video earlier today. Yeech, it's certainly a scary way to instill obedience and patriotism.

RE: World News - Psychospacecow - 12-17-2015

The only thing that surprises me about it honestly is the sheer genius of it all. Like, someone thought of and is executing that, and its going to be shaped by a committee run by one party which is notorious for brutal and swift stomping of anything outside their life of interest.

Bill Cosby finally got arrested.

A militia started by a Nevada Rancher has taken over a national state park in Oregon. Not the kind of headline I expect to read honestly.

I haven't followed it very closely, but I'm not surprised. I'm waiting for another civil war to break our in our lifetimes.

I have a feeling that another civil war will happen, but it will happen when we will least expect it.
