Chinese officials confirm they are no longer in control of its Tiangong-1 space station and it will fall to Earth in late 2017.

More specifically, they're decommissioning it and no longer control reentry. It'll desintegrate mostly upon reentry, but some unlucky sod may get some shrapnel through their roof.

Damn straight, and it's absolutely amazing. One day, I plan on cycling over a month or so along the trail with camping gear.
