I haven't played in a few days, been busy working and, to be honest, I'm starting to get a little bored with it.
The honeymoon phase is over :(

The honeymoon phase is over :(

All I'm doing is the same stuff every day.
Start
Check shops.
Buy plants, fortune cookies and any furniture
Pay off that part of the house(see bottom) and buy the next upgrade.
Find the fake rock and the money rock
Find the fossils/'oids
Spend the next hour talking to the townsfolk

Then go to the Island around 5-6PM and spend the next 3 hours farming the island for bugs(till the shops close) earning around 700K. (Then when I wake up the next day, I pay off that house/project and then buy the next upgrade.

Farming the Island for that long really speeds up what the next day offers. Just got the QR code reader from the Able Sisters

Still need Club LOL, Kicks and The Cafe, but that all being said, I'm enjoying it. I don't concentrate on Animal Crossing while playing it though. Usually at friends playing games or watching Twitch streams. So...eh.

Oh right, I need to add a few more here, will do so!

AND YES, I FINALLY HAVE THE OPTION TO BUILD THE CAFE. IT WOULD BE PERFECT IF I WAS NOT DIRT POOR.

Oh shit this game is basically a Facebook game but for the 3DS!

That's my problem with Animal Crossing it's a game that you're SUPPOSED to play all the time, but I've left two villages behind to rot on old memory cards already.

I fell in love all over again, but at one point....... I will leave behind the AWESOME town of Hollandy.

You take that back right now.

I don't know why, but I really want to play Fire Emblem right now.
You guys ever notice how, right after buying a good game, sometimes you'll just focus in on that one game and praise it for hours on end and never acknowledge any other game's existence for a period of time after getting it, then after a week or two you stop playing it as much, and soon you just sort of forget about it? I hate when that happens, just because it stops being so much fun after a while.

That being said, the only other 3DS games I have are Mario Kart 7, which this happened in, Kingdom Hearts DDD which I finished in three days, then 100%'d in a little over a week, Fire Emblem: Awakening which this actually hasn't happened in, as I still play it a lot, Monster Hunter 3 U which is mostly just my pocket Honey farm for the Wii U version, and Animal Crossing, which this is starting to happen with.

Oh, and I picked up Street Fighter 4 3D when I saw it at a used game shop for $4. Meh.

Feels like this should be in gaming general~

It's that burn out. I've felt this lately. I've started games then not bothered to finish them. I'm sure in September it'll be back to normal. At the moment it seems the games everyone is talking are Animal Crossing and The Last of Us. Ah well.

I'd just like to point out that the design limit is bullshit. Being able to store your designs in Mable should be active regardless but only being able to use the 10 in your inventory is stupid. What's Nintendos problem?

Have you guys been remembering to ask for free gifts at the post office? I got a really pretty Rainbow Screen out of it.

Everyone did. It's a timed exclusive DLC similar to Pokemon Mystery Events.
