The most annoying things in video games?

Pretty much anything in Zelda 2.

Enemies that steal health and exp, and are impossible to put up with if there are more than one of them.

Cryptic shit that is impossible to solve, or know without a guide.

Adding something no needed in a game (Life system)

But, apart from Zelda 2.

QTE's in cutscenes that happen about 5 minutes in. I've already put down the controller to watch the cutscene. This is the biggest culprit in my opinion. Worst thing that could ever happen in the game. I was still sad after I finished it.

Stupid pauses in games. No one seems to get it right. It's always...

"We have to go, the place is getti-"
3 seconds of silence
"You will stay here, solider."

Unresponsive shit gets to me as well. I can't remember the game, but I wanted to choose an item to restore my health with, but the game wouldn't open the menu for like three seconds, which allowed me to die.

Even the much praised Last of Us is guilty of this.

So how does that exactly become annoying? It would probably be the skybox of the level which is only for the scenery and its also because the game engines have limited space.

It seriously takes away from the immersion. It's especially bad in a game that really tries to be as realistic as possible (Last of Us, again).

Seriously, why the fuck does Aang have to spend twenty minutes sneaking around a god damn library? I don't mind them that much if they're quick or not brutally difficult, like in Ocarina of Time or Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days, but god dammit stealth cones are bullshit.

OMG it was so damn annoying in Uncharted 3. Why do these games try to be Metal Gear when they clearly are not D:

The hints in the Professor Layton games are not always helpful.

Speaking of hints. I gotta mention the only negative thing I got to say about Telltale Game's Puzzle agent games are the hints. Unless if you have the brain of albert einstein, your not getting anywhere with the hints that they are giving you to solve the harder puzzles. Not all the puzzles in the games are hard, but the hints aren't helpful(your better off looking at the walkthrough while you play the game).

As for health healing enemies. I remember Paper Mario had a shy guy healing its allies with 4 heart points. Something like that isn't a issue, but when its a boss and it heals himself with half of the hp points that it you gave it while attacking him then yeah its a pain. I have a feeling that is what most gamers hate the boss in chapter 7 of Paper Mario.

Where's the 'I have to wait for the sequel because the game doesn't have an ending' option?

Talking about games like God of War 2 and The Darkness 2...

Such as games like God of War 2 and The Darkness 2...
Halo 2 is guilty of this completely. I know I wont forget my older brother cursing at the tv when it happened.

I never understood why many games after Legend of Zelda on NES still didn't use the save feature instead of a ridiculous DAMM LONG PASSWORD????????!!!??!? OR NOT EVEN HAVING A PASSWORD!?!

Bad AI is really annoying too.

It isn't for an official game and its in beta but it can get annoying when the AI in YGOPRO crashes. Its usually when it can't do anything to win in that immediate moment, so it basically emulates ragequitting.

Ok you know what else is annoying? Games that make you wanna feel like its a great game but turns out to be a dull one instead. e.g Bastion.

Am I the only one that notices bad models in games? I'm talking when parts of the body clip through objects and it just looks bad. It seems like shoulders, elbows, and hair are the hardest things to program because I keep seeing one of these problems. Play DOA4 and look at anyone with long hair to see what I'm talking about.

How about the "You promised me a sequel but I am still waiting years later" option?

Okage came out in 2001 and Prince of Persia 2008 came out.... well in 2008 and nether have the sequels we were promised at the end.
