Ubisoft has done a preaty good job of removing things that annoyed me in Assassin's Creed III. That is except for one. In the 3rd game, they have you get about 4000g by playing mini-games. These games were Fanorona, Nine Men's Morris, and a game where you tryed to get the ball near a peg. The first two were hard as balls and I never won a game. The last was fun and I got to play it with George Washington. I was able to reach the goal with in about an hour or less by playing the game.

AC4 has you win each of the three mini games just once. Easy enough. The first game was Checkers and it was fun to play. And than I find out what the other two games are. Fanorona and Nine Men's Morris. This is going to take a wile.

Dear Vicarious Visions developers,
I really do like the idea of trading over data from one game to my friend/brother's game. It's what made pokemon fun and interactive. The one thing Pokemon did right was having the player hook up with the other version to get the missing pokemon. What it did not due was make me find a friend with the same version to get ONE missing pokemon.

Started playing Crash Purple and Spyro Orange to see if I coud get everything in both games. After getting most of the cards in the game, I looked up a guide to see what I was missing. Turns out that both games have two cards that you need passwords to get and one last card that you can not get unless you have a friend who has the same version as you. Which means that if I want to get the last card for each of these, I need to go out and find another copy of Crash Purple and Spyro Orange. To put the icing on the cake, these games did not sell well (to my knowledge), which means that most people who bought these games never got the last card (which for Crash fans means that they are missing out on a playable character in Multiplayer).

Oh my god... Anyone else here play Livid Dead Party on Rayman Legends?

I don't mind a challenge at all, but fucking with my eyeballs and giving me a headache is another matter. Just in case you plan on playing the game, or aren't there yet, I'll talk about the levels in spoilers.

Fuck with your eyeballs indeed! Whom ever designed that and thought it was a good idea is both a mad genius and fucken sadist to come up with that concept and some how get others to get on board with the idea too.

I would have raged quit so hard I would have broke my controller, TV set and probably had the cops come and probably taze me during my incoherent rant about pixels and flipping things upside down too many times.

Don't you just love puzzles in games that assume you know how to do something, like play piano for example.

Reminds me of the piano puzzle in Silent Hill in the school. Had to figure out the right keys to press based off the stupid poem left on the chalk board. I thought "Screw that, this is why the internet exists....besides for porn. " *nudge in Hex's direction*

Funny thing, I was thinking of that exact same puzzle when I was trying to figure this one out. You know, I just came up with something.

I'm playing Dementium, by the way.

I found Goof Troop in the SNES games I bought a while back. It looks like it has 5 levels and they have little puzzles. I beat the first level, wrote down the password and came back to it later. When I went to the password screen, it had symbols (bananas, gems and objects in the game) to use. Apparently the 0H28M55S that I wrote down was the time it took to beat the level. It only took me 22 minutes to beat the first level this time.

You have to start wondering about the level of maturity your friends possess when half of your game time is spent marvelling at the polygonal boobs of ObsCure II's female protagonists.

I dread what will happen when we finally move on to Dragon's Crown...

I can't really stand the way females are portrayed because of stuff like that. Yeah, since I was a kid, I've always thought Cammy from Street Fighter was hot, but I want to enjoy the game, not boobs. Maybe they can start making male characters who are obviously more well endowed than others. Make it look like they have a roll of quarters in there pockets. Then.... it becomes differently viewed.

I honestly don't care and I don't pay attention to stuff like that in games. They are, after all, just games. My only gripe is when less armor for some reason means more armor.

If you ever play Xenosaga, they have this clear data item they give you. If you complete Episode 1 and then start playing Episode 2, they give you 3 types of swimsuit armor/equipable skill item for both Ziggy and KOS-MOS. So they essentially give the sexy female battle android a swimsuit item that actually increases her defenses.....yeah.

I'm a guy so I'm not complaining but that is weird that the swimsuit item actually makes her stronger.

That's my main complaint on the matter. Why of all things do those items boost defense? Sure, have them in the game, but don't try to make them seem like the optimal item to use when they clearly shouldn't be.

I honestly find it kind of funny. Jessica in DQ8 got different bustiers at certain points, and the idea of someone actually going out like that and splitting heads is pretty funny if you ask me.

I know, and I don't really mind that much, but the balances between the stat boosts irk me.
