I'm surprised this isn't a thread yet !

What do you all think of the Olympic Games so far ? Are you loving watching it, or are you boycotting because of Russia's iffy track record on certain issues.


I'm currently enjoying it, even if France is doing terribly in the whole medal-getting side of the competition.
I can't even say, "ah but at least the UK is doing well", because they're not. Ah well, at least the events themselves are great to watch.

I'd love to see just as much footage from the paralympics though, which is never the case. I just feel that the paralympians deserve so much more media coverage because what they do is totally amazing. Ah well... Probably not profitable enough.

I don't watch on TV either, I stream it online given that you can choose what sport you want to watch (which, I think, is also the case for cable TV, but that depends on where you are).

But in general is a lot of swish, swish, spin, rocket, jump, shoot, land, scrub, pull, push, shout. In snow.

I love the shootings sports but I'm not watching this year. I'm not saying "boycott" because its more or less the equivalent of one fly that not on any particular slab of rotting meat. It doesn't make a difference in whether or not a bunch of meat is being infested.
