Trivia Credit

It's not a super huge deal but how come Trivia imported from DYKG gets submission credit from DYKG instead of the original submitter of the trivia? Will it be updated?

Edit: Just kind of disheartening to rebuild credit when you've submitted your favorite trivia already.

If you link us to the trivia on DYKG that you submitted, we'll change it to your name. We've been open to allowing this for others, too.
The only reason it was credited as DYKG was because you guys weren't registered yet! No way for us to link it to an account that doesn't exist ;)

We figured it'd be best to put it under DYKG's name instead of, say, mine, because at least it's somewhat true.

If they're not on the site yet, simply submit them through the site directly. If they have already been copied over (we did a bunch before we even launched the site), provide a link to your original submission as well as the one on this site for each trivia that's yours and we'll update it.

Also I just submitted a Wii U easter egg under a game called Wii U since it was forcing a title. Hopefully that gets through haha.

You can't submit console trivia as a game. That will be rejected when we get to it. Go to the consoles section, select the Wii U, and submit your trivia to it directly. If the console (or series or developer) you want to submit trivia to does not yet exist, you can create it by clicking Add Console & Submit Trivia (again, or series or developer) from the main browse pages for series, developers, and consoles.

As for your DYKG trivia, what you provided should be enough. I'll take care of it tomorrow if someone doesn't beat me to it.

That works for me. I'd rather have my successful trivia submitted by DYKG, than have it be like, "Someone found this first, but I found the thing they found and I'll post it so I can get credit on the new site for finding the thing they found."
