I have played the past two rayman's. And actually 100% completed Legends on Wii U (optimal with most content). It was incredible. 10/10 for me. The Art and Music obviously destroys New Mario Bros U I agree with all of that. I'm willing to bet my records surpase yours and I've sunk more time into it then you if you want to compare. And Luigi U had a stand alone for those who didn't want the original because it is a different game with different physics. Despite not trying to be new and calling itself DLC it still gets raged at..

But New Mario Bros U simply has the perfect 2d platforming physics, that one thing is so strong to the point of it being my perfect 2d platformer. If everyone didn't hate on it so much for being a tweaked clone, and this was some alternate universe where this was the first Mario game ever, I feel it would be appreciated by everyone the same as I do. I have a feeling you guys both don't own a Wii-U and New Mario Bros U while calling ME bias btw.

Yes the last good sonic was Generations. If you read my post fully I did say the average Rayman completly destroys the average Sonic. There is only a couple I think is better then Legends.

The Angrybirds minigame is a very small part, like homerun contest so don't worry about it.

If your going to release DLC, release DLC, not a phisacl copy of of the same game with new paint. Mario Galaxy 2 is DLC and so is Luigi U, but insted of downloading the extra content, you had to buy a brand new game disc (and yes I know Luigi U was DLC first but that does not change the fact that they made it a buyable game later). I can't stand the Lost Levels because it's just DLC that you had to buy, but It HAD a reason because it was released before DLC was a thing.

There are a few things to consider
1) Nintendo during the Wii console period didn't have the online infrastructure to allow for DLC. Heck, the only way to patch Metroid: Other M or Skyward Sword was to send your save away on an SD card or download a channel to patch your save. So the only way Mario Galaxy 2 would ever have come out is through physical copies.
1a) Also the Wii doesn't have the hard drive space to support such a large add-on.
2) Not everyone has the Internet to download the DLC so an option needs to be there (physical copies)
3) Not everyone who does have Internet will have a fast enough download speed
4) Not everyone who does have the Internet may has space on their hard drive for more content.

I generally agree with how lazy a lot DLC is today but because of how behind Nintendo is, they kinda have make these options available. You'd be surprised how many didn't even know the Wii (or Wii U) had/has online capabilities.

Since Smash 3DS is being released in Japan in about 4 weeks, what will you guys be doing in the upcoming weeks. Avoiding as many spoilers as possible or are you going deep into the spoiler hole? I personally want to try avoiding spoilers, but I don't think I'll last until the Wii U release.

Usually any other thing on the planet I will avoid spoilers for. However Smash isn't really about surprises too me.

My eyes are going to be covered from the spoilers. I'm not looking at any of them until I have a copy of the game myself. Be it 3DS or Wii U version.
