I don't think they even own the rights to Crash anymore.

They don't. I'm unsure who owns the rights at the moment.

As for Jaxter, they have said in the past that they don't want to make a new Jaxter game just to make money. They scraped a new entry just because they did not feel like fans would like it.

It's funny because my sister actually knows the dude who started this rumor. Did you see his debunking video? It's actually pretty interesting.

Activision may own the rights to the Crash games, but we all know that they ain't doing jack shit with it since its not a 'realistic first person shooter game'.

No I haven't. I tip my hat for him making it look real though.

To be fair, the last (I think) 4 games did not sell all that well, so their not the only ones to blame. It's also the people who want the "Realistic FPS" games. You sell what people will buy (not that it's the best excuse).

I think when Activision got the rights to Crash, they only two games with him(if you're not counting any of the mobile phone games though) which were Titans and Mind over Mutant. They got mixed reviews from gamers and critics, but they didn't do well money wise(then again, they did bad marketing on the games by releasing it around the same time their 'realistic' games were released).

Edit: After doing some research. I was correct.

Batman: Arkham Knight has been given an 'M for Mature' rating by the ERSB, something which Rocksteady (the game's developer) didn't intend.

I wonder if they still retain the rights to use Freddy as a character. It would be cool to recreate Freddy vs. Jason.

Getting rid of the guy who has possibly made your most successful game and then some.

That's a Sega move right there.

But seriously though, I can hardly name 5 good Konami games without Metal Gear.

I'd say it's more of a Capcom thing, but I'm going to wait until them anounce five diffrent Metal Gear games and then cancel them all in one month before saying that.

But seriously, what is Konami going to do without their money making machine.
