I know, they are dirty and wrong, but does the site accept trivia regarding emulators?

I'm asking because I happened to read something interesting about a laserdisc emulator.

Emulators are not consoles, nor are they games.. Unless the trivia is directly related to the console, no, we don't consider emulators to be the original machine. Because that's silly.

Emulators get a bad rep, but they are legal. They're also damn helpful at times - Dolphin for example, and PCSX2, allow us to record footage at a higher resolution than the console itself can handle, meaning videos we upload look more crisp and show more detail.

Ah well. I'll share the thing I found just for kicks, then. I thought it was pretty funny.

The laserdisc emulator called "Daphne" got its name from the well known laserdisc and arcade game Dragon's Lair, where the player's objective is to find and resque Princess Daphne. This can be seen referenced all over the site. Furthermore, the creator of the emulator calls it the First Ever Multiple Arcade Laserdisc Emulator, or FEMALE for short, further adding to the reference.

Only exception I could see is the Virtual Console for the Wii/Wii U and games that have emulators inside them (Animal Crossing, for example.)

Ah, I always wondered if you guys used emulators when I used to view gameplay videos since they always looked fresh and crisp.
